Ipoh trip

This post is pretty rusty and old ady..So to keep it simple, short and due to d laggy connection..i've collaged most of d photos taken from my trip to Ipoh 2 weeks ago wif my classmates, Jasper and Anson and my darling Wei wei..

Ipoh is all abt FOOD babeh! And be prepared to put on weight after dis trip..we ate 4-5 meals a day..food not to be missed in Ipoh are certainly the crispy bean sprout and chicken (ngai choi kai), curry chicken bread (chi pao kai), salted chicken (yim kok kai), dim sum, midnight ice-cream + fruit ice blended (my fav!), assam laksa and chicken feet! yum! 2 of my frens dare not to try the chicken feet no matter how hard we've persuaded them and telling them how yummy they were..Anson's interpretation on how to eat chicken feet is juz priceless...shud hav recorded it down n put in on Youtube. haha!

Due to all d food consumption, we had to do burn off all those extra calories..we went to a few temples and caves in Ipoh..now i can only remember Gua Perak..d rest forgotten d names ady..but among all, i like d cave wif d 12 animals shapes most..d view thr is so breathtaking and d air is so fresh and cooling..paradise-like..some sort like d Garden of Eden whr in d olden days, holy ppl used to stay there to meditate n pray..we were also supposed to climb one of d caves which would take around 40 minutes but thanks to d rain, we didnt climb it..so glad becoz im afraid of heights, wad to say suffering more than half hours to test my fear..*phew*

All in all, it's a wonderful trip wif great travel friends..looking forward to more trips around west msia again before graduation~~ XD

Sorry for the late posting lately...i've been super busy, not wif my study schedule definitely(coz im having almost stress-free classes), but mostly on my final year project (thesis), ped ass, trip to ipoh, wkends at melaka and frens' bday celebrations...

Anyways, last week my fren brought me to dis place called Kuantan Village at Kuala Selangor, somewhr quite outskirt of KL city, to watch fireflies.. Yea fireflies~~!! I didnt noe it was reli dat far and it took us almost an hour to reach d place..on d way thr we were met wif not once, not twice but THRICE, a herd of bulls and cows chewing on roadside grass, dat looked pretty pissed and mad at us and seemed ready to attack us at any moment..

Thank God we've survived unharmed!! *phew* When we reached the firefly farm, it was dead silent and pretty dark, gloomy surrounding...a pin drop could be heard loud n clear..so we went to the jetty and told the Pakcik we wanted to go for a round and he told us it's RM40 per ride. After wearing the stinky life jacket, we got into the sampan, manually rowed by another Pakcik and started off our journey~~~~ According to him, not as much fireflies would be coming out after a heavy downpour..therefore, dat day it was right after a heavy rain, so d trees wasnt as brightly lighted as it would be..nonetheless, it was still very lovely and amazing..almost fantasy-like..and it's like brightly decorated X'mas trees..one thing to take note is we're not allowed to catch any fireflies wadsoeva ways and bring them home secretly, altho' i have d thought n intention to do so..pif! i've managed to catch a few fireflies and their neon light appears to be greenish yellow. be careful not to press on them coz they r such fragile n soft creatures.

my short holiday of 2 weeks is finally coming 2 an end..:( not enuf time! too many things 2 do, too lil time..met up wif Ping for lunch and i was longing to hav curry chicken rice but when we reached d place it was sold out d. it was only 12.30 lei. d other stall no nid 2 mention..wud be sold out even earlier. Kch ppl reli like to eat curry chicken rice hor..sheesh!

So we went to Crowne Sq to try out dis Indonesian restaurant called Pondok Laguna. Walk in thru d side entrance of Mr.Ho's Fine Foods and u'll c d restaurant waiting for u directly right in front. Spoiled by choice with their wide selection of menu, we've finally decided to order these:

watermelon + honey dew + milk + froggie egg.
notice on d right is d Indonesian 'achar'. nth compared to our local achar.

my kedondong juice. super nice n refreshing.
(dis is not in d menu, d waitress recommended it)

traditional rice bucket. so unique.

sambal sotong. quite spicy but delish.

grilled fish. very spicy but its nice. HUGE.

crispy tofu + vegetables + spicy sauce. HUGE.

too nice 2 be eaten

everything's reli spicy here. Indonesian food r well known to be spicy. If u can't stand d heat, Pondok Laguna isnt d place for u to be. D place is quite underrated i tink coz d place is reli empty at d time we went. Food is nice and quite cheap as well. Will visit again d nxt time i crave for sth 2 spice up d day. ;)

1st Anniversary

Well.. how time has fly! Its already d 1st anniversary since my dear friend has left us & d world. Its hard to believe dat it has been a year now. Yet his face n smile is still so fresh in my memory..and i guess i'm speaking on behalf of all his friends and family members..im sure they felt exactly d same..i guess its how he carry himself n d way he treated everyone he knew..

Time-table for nxt sem's out! and it's freakin amazing! Classes from Mon to Sat and best still, we have night classes everyday! On certain days.. night class only for d whole day. *faint* can start my mushroom farm during daytime ady. =.=

Selamat Hari Raya to all Malays out there celebrating dis occasion~!!

I'm going for open house visiting 2mr XD..rendang, ketupat, yummy! :P

Finally, i've recovered from flu and cough..which was so torturing for d past few days.. Have to stay away from laksa n all d yummy food. Went to Enter K @ Crowne Square for k session yesterday. dey shud reli update their English songs!! So outdated. And remember to bring ur student card to be eligible for student rate @ RM22 on wkdays. If not mistaken its rm14/16 on Tuesdays.

Thr's dis new bakery cum cafe called Gingerbread House located at same row as d former PBK Tuition Centre at Bormill. N their cheese tart is pretty nice while their Portugese egg tart is sorta weird as its added wif lemon, unlike d normal ones eaten in Malacca, so totally not my cup of tea.

Gotta continue on wif my AutoCAD drawing for my next semester's assignment..

Yea.. i have homeworks - an assignment & thesis (final yr project) due next semester..so i've got lots of work during dis short holiday..pathetic hor! :(

dis is so beyond outdated but...exams OVAHHH!!! so glad!! XD~~~~ however gotta minus some reasons to c'brate coz i did badly for my last paper. totally disappointed wif d outcome of all d hard memorizing i did last minute. sob sob. and wads worst, i had a super annoying bastard sitting behind me. after looking at d Q paper, he started to curse n swear (out loud). i wanted to change seat badly but thr arent any empty seats left. super unlucky me =.= throughout d entire 2 hrs period of exam, he kept breathing (Out loud again!) wif his stuck-nose-snorting-like sound. along wif some mocking towards d lecturer. beh tahan! so wanna slap/punch him. Everytime i tried to recall wad i've studied, he makes those noises again. n thr goes my thought.. frekkin annoying!

Annoying guy aside, d package dat i've been waiting for weeks has finally arrived yesterday! Super hapi XD

Both of them are Chow chows, also known as puffy lion dogs in Chinese.. notice d resemblance? read from d internet dat they're a cautious, singular, devoted breed that dislikes strangers and acts very protective and reserved. It's like a well-to-do gentleman that's not outgoing or people-friendly..hmm interesting dog breed indeed!

Went to Ikano's Pet Safari last wkend and saw dis...very blurry though..

Gosh it's freakin' humongous! It's as big as a baby sun bear! A dog owner brought her cute lil shih tzu there for a haircut and d poor lil creature shivered upon seeing d chow chow. D chow chow could easily squashed the shih tzu eh..haha..So if u ever wanna rear a dog + scare ur enemies away from ur house = Chow chow!!

After dat, we went to Segi College, PJ to collect WK's stuffs..while waiting for him...snapped some scenery pics

Such a nice and clean environment aye?? Green wif envy...but it seems very empty and too peaceful..mayb during wkends only la

Rose wanted me to snap dis pic of her driving her new ride..she just bought her new City..1st time see her drive so slow (less than 100km/hr) and extra cautious..:P

Last bit. Good news!! 'They've decided to let Avril perform after all! Surprise surprise! Get ur ticks as soon as possible! As much as i would like to go, i can't! :'( Finals are too near and got plans already by den plus going there would be too inconvenient. Le sigh.

I'm so mad and pissed off at my s2pid thesis Supervisor now! She's Malay for one thing. At 1st i wasnt anything into racism or anyth lidat. But den now, yeah i cud c d differences after discussing & comparing wif my friends' supervisors.

Asked her what is d format for doing our interim report? She's like trying to avoid d question n ask us to do it ourself. SO wtf is dis consultation and u supervising us for? Bloody hell.

After amended everything, I handed-up to her 2day. I've printed d stuffs dat i have amended only coz wads d point printing everything dat is correct all over again? I was re-arranging everything in d order dat our Head, Dr B wanted, and asked from her d previous chapters dat i have submitted and approved by her last week. She was searching here n thr inside her drawer. Then out-of-sudden she go thr nag "Y do i have to do dis arrangement bla bla" I told her "No, i'll arrange everyth for u before submitting". D reason she was nagging was becoz she couldn't find my previous chapters! KNN! And i thought to myself, wad kind of management skills are u implicating here huh?! (She was our management lecturer!)

And today she said my interim report has to include dis n dat. She never mentioned all dis be4! WTf? u thought I'm so free kah? Y didn't u tell me earlier?! I don't mind re-doing it but i mind meeting u so often. We have lots of classes and it's super inconvinient to fit our schedule wif urs.

Does it ever appear in her mind how hard we've tried to managed between our thesis, assignments and study at the same time? D last time, she said i don't have time management. I told her it's d outcome dat matters most. Today since i'm so beh song wif her attitude i ask her to clarify more specifically regarding my time management issue as time management is one of d elements of d assessment criteria. As far as i noe wad i hav completed so far is so much better than d other students under her supervision. All she could do was just 'gong gong' smile thr. tak tahan!

Wondering how can i stand her next sem? :'( Oh God, plz bless me! =.=

Have been catching up on the latest Taiwan drama flick, Hot Shot a.k.a Lan Qiu Huo starring Wu Zun, Jerry and Show Luo (small pig), d show totally rocks..all d slam dunks! Let's c d casts getting lovey dovey during d set of d show.. haha cuteness and bromance! XD

last Fri, me and my classmates went to KLCC to watch Wall-E, which was just released on Thurs..thoughts?? The story line is quite meaningful but i thought it was abit boring and draggy..and i doze off halfway thru' d movie..yah i'm a piggy! nah nah..however its conclusive 2 say dat Wall-E is so loveable and adorable, which makes d show nice 2 watch..and Eve, d other robot, is super cute too..dis robot love thingy is soooo sweet. cuteness all d way~ if u like robots n romance n mother earth den dis movie is definitely suitable for u!

After d movie we went to Isetan coz i wanted to buy d cheesecake from dis Japanese bakery after hearing much raves abt it..n dey're having dis Hokkaido Fair thr @ 3rd floor @ Isetan..u can find almost every yummy Japanese food thr..u name it, they've got it..except baby octopus la! :( thr's even salmon roe, d huge huge ones..and d Salesperson asks us to try..we quickly take d toothpick (yea toothpick! lokek aji bahil!) and cucuk a few roes..so syoKz! so fresh n tasty~ we also tried da cheese scallop which is being sold at RM200 per packet..vr yummy too..

Here's da Japanese cheesecake i mentioned earlier..it's called Miki Ojisan No Mise (Uncle Miki sth...??) It's currently selling @ RM18.90 and not RM16.90 anymore..besides original cheesecake, they have chocolate cheesecake as well..gonna try it d nxt time...

At 1st bite, u can taste how soft d cake is n it melts in ur mouth..so yummy! We finished d cake within 10 minutes or so, i think..haha yeah we r gluttons! :P

It has Uncle Miki's logo printed on d top layer of d cake..cute aye? haha..go try it if u like soft cheesecakes dat r not too rich or creamy~~!

Went to Mid Valley yesterday for a shopping spree with my gal pals Mary and Sujun and Alan, Sujun's friend..shopped until 8pm and headed off for dinner. It's time for us to relax our poor feet after a long day's work.

We couldn't decide what to have for dinner..and finally decided on some Italian food. So we went to Italiannies. First thought, d workers thr r extremely friendly and warm. We spent at least 15-20 mins deciding on wad we wana order. hahah..thnx for d patience guys!

hectic weekend

i was supposed to finish off my assignments and thesis dis weekend n stay at home kuai kuai...DEN my sis called me and asked me to help her to do some registration thingy at Segamat dis Sun..den quickly rushed off my thesis and bought my bus ticket at PuduRaya...most of d tix for Transnasional and KKKL were sold out so i ended up wif Metrobus, 1st time using dis company to Melaka. Guess wad? D driver used a short cut n we didnt pass Melaka Raya where i would normally stopped. So ended up at Melaka Sentral dis time..which is further from my sis' place.

Waited her for quite a while and i walked around...as i was looking for a black cap for quite a while..finally i've caught my eyes on a cool black cap..and quickly bought it!! D seller gave me a discount so i got it off for a cheap rm16! ^^

Den straightly we went home and ate d yummy bak chang dat sis bought..den d 4 of us (me,sis,wk&benny) went to Bukit Beruang's badminton court for 2 hrs game of badminton..now my arm aches badly..chin jia tia lei..whoaaaa :'( babooon help me massage!! :P

MTV Asia Awards 2008 is finally over.. wanted to go so badly but its near impossible 2 get d tix so jz gave up hope la...anyways i thought d MAAs were quite well presented and organised..both MCs, Karen Mok & Jared Leto..weird pairing but they are reli charismatic n made d show interesting..D performances by Super Junior, Leona Lewis, One Republic and The Pussycat Dolls were awesome..each performing 2 tracks each..The click 5 was great too! i think all d foreign stars did greatly..as for our local group..d collaboration btwn a few local artists performing Marabahaya were a total mess and terrible. feel like wanna throw smelly eggs at them! so menyasoikan our music industry only..Nicholas Teo was there as well but he didnt perform..his speech was right after d performance of an English band so he didnt get all d cheers he deserved. hahah poor guy! Sumore he was using broken English. adui! wads wrong wif those Malaysians? =.=|||

On Sunday, I went to Segamat@Johor wif Roselyn, had to wake up at 6 dat morning..gosh so sleep deprived lately..it is a 1.5 hours journey and we were running late ady coz of our late breakfast..but due to my sis' driving skills n her need for speed, we reached our destination, Klinik Lee, earlier than d supposed time. They were doing dis blood testing thingy for the old folks to test their glucose level..Guess wad I did there? I was d nurse of d day! XD without d uniform only..keke :P I filled in their form n labelled their test tube and called their name to enter d room. Wads more surprising is when one of d old folks called me 'Missy'!! looOl! so syok sendiri! Dr. Lee is d MCA Chairman/President for Segamat according to Rose. He then invited us for a drink after we finished off d blood testing.

After dat, on d way back to Melaka we stopped by Tangkak....simply to........

eat d famous GU BAK MEE (Beef noodle)!! d small corner shop was so packed but luckily we got our seats. It tasted identical to Kuching's Green Hill Corner's gu bak mee. except it's in a larger portion and more gu baks..and we still asked them to add extra gu baks..yummy~~!!

Isn't it cute? Got it for free from OCBC Bank when we went to Dataran Pahlawan. All u hav 2 do is register ur ATM card wif them. Easy peasy. Now Sam my cat has someone of d same size to play with. my other stuffed toys r too big n kept inside my box. So here it is my bear bear all d way from Melaka..XD

There's dis newly opened Sushi restaurant at Dataran Pahlawan, 4th floor i tink, and d sushi there is not bad. If u're visiting, dont ever forget to try out their Salmon Cheese Hana Maki..omg so yummy!! our all-time fav!! as for d rest d menu is like Sushi King's..try it out~!

my housemate has just bought a shih tzu puppy a few days ago named yumi....she's just 6 weeks old! super tiny miny mo but pee-ed and poop-ed super lots i tell u. reli wanna faint seeing d whole pile here n there. pity her owner has to come back n clean it avday. lil' yumi likes to bark super loud after midnight coz we locked her in her cage and shih tzus are reali afraid of dark and being alone. dats d thing we hav 2 deal wif while stayin at condos as they disallow pets here.

so there's dis emergency thingy i totally forgot abt juz now..duno which smartie used our shower until d shower holder became loose so i asked the management to come and fix it dis afternoon..yea i totally forgot abt d s2pid condo rules thingy! had to rush everything into our dry kitchen, her cage, her sack of food and yumi..covered her lil garden wif our dining table and sprayed my Victoria Secret body mist (found a purpose to use it finally!) and hoped wif all my will dat she wont bark..

SHE DIDNT! yeayyy! everything's back as usual again...*phew!* dat was close...!

d very last time i went to Sunway Lagoon was like 8-10 years ago..hmm how time has passed.. still have dat adrenaline rush from dat roller coaster ride yest..me and a bunch of friends from kuching (7 of us) bought da all park comprising both wet and dry theme parks for RM72 per pax..started off our journey around 11 am due to certain circumstances, like losing our way to the dry theme park for instance..thanks to d misleading officers..grRrrR!! didn't bring our hps in so no pics taken of pale faces..:P

Scream Park - check! (d banner says d scariest place on earth. lamest maybe..and hilarious. but d bridge 3d illusion thingy was pretty cool. and d prison break thingy was totally hopeless. hate d bright lights.a family following behind us went missing half way through..hoho)

Extreme Park bike ride - pek chekzness. we waited for almost half n hour. den it rained and was closed.

Cameroon Climb, African Phytons - check check!

niagara falls flume ride - check! (we played 3 times. super fun! jz be prepared to get super wet.)

dis are all d rides dat i cud remember as of now..due to d rain we couldnt ride certain dry land rides..bummer! and one thing we realized is thr r super lotsa ninja turtles thr, those covering from head to toe, leaving only their eyes to be seen..all in all, it was a fun day and effective to release stress as well, jz scream ur lungs out..almost no voice ki yesterday..

just finished watching a downloaded version of Over Her Dead Body starring Eva Longoria Parker and Jason Biggs..a decent movie which is pretty amusing and funny, lots of stoopid farnie scenes..hahaz..jz wad u need for a time off to relax ur mind..

PED assignment so far - check, Moral - check, Site Management - not yet, Contract Admin - not yet, Project Management - not yet...*phew* aza aza fighting!!

we've just presented our Moral formal presentation today, where we get to showcase d video which me n Anson edited for 10 hours!! trust me it aint easy! wif certain clips from d video starring Simon, Jasper, Anson n urs truly..ahem ahemz..hahaz..our lecturer said it was pretty good and i cud feel my nose growing slightly a few inches longer..haha..and den she asked who made dat video? d whole group or..? noone answered. me n anson said YES!! den she said 'oo..now i noe how to distribute d video marks'...well well..anyways, its a great feeling having ur hard work recognised seriously..thanks to all those 3 partners in crime who stood by my side when d other 3 opposed strongly when I suggested we shud make a video..*huggies*argh shud stop being so emo..=.=

well i did sth reli mean lately at home. i reset da wireless modem which is actually controlled by da master room guys and my fren helped me set a new passwd for d Admin. HEY sth has to be done for our laggy s2pid connection okay!! thanks to KhaLoon for his help. DIS is all done when d master room guys were not at home. ONCE dey came back, we couldnt online at all. I wanted to tell them peacefully abt d new settings but on 2nd thought, i might have been bombarded. And today i tried n tried and cud finally online again. hope to resolve dis prob wif them soon!

me and Anson papa spent almost 10 hours developing and editing a video for our Moral presentation. 10 freaking hours!! Just for an 8 minute video. faint! Imagine those movies which lasts about 3 hours. [(3 X 60) /8) X 10 ] = 225 hours, and it covers only d editing part, excluding da video shooting and recording part. @.@ producing a movie is seriously a super tough job indeed..but it's quite a fun experience really..hahaz..we were both super exhausted after finishing our 8 mins video editing..

Meanwhile... i'm so so addicted to dis singer called Joanna Wang..she's d daughter of a famous Taiwanese music producer Wang something..her voice is so charming and Colby Cailat-like..some of d recommended songs r 'The best mistake that i've ever made' and 'i love u'-english version of David Tao's 'wo ai ni'...just to name a few..me likey <3~~

Yesterday we wandered around the area surrounding Mid Valley for our PED assignment which requires us to develop an empty land..virtually..so we snapped pics of landmarks, buildings, etc etc and due to someone having his 'uncle' problem, we hurried off to Mid Valley 'coz we were extremely hot at dat time.

Okay back to the title. After much anticipating the highly-raved-about movie, HANCOCK (like duh?! every movie starring Will Smith is a guaranteed HIT!) i've finally found the time to watch it yesterday..I seriously dunno why would they use dat image/facial expression of Will Smith as the original poster..it's super hideous and giving me goosebumps..why dont they use d pic of him in his tight suit? it would have help wif d ticket sales as well..hehez..

Well back to the movie itself..the beginning of d story was abit boring to me..i almost doze off in d cinema..and d rest of d movie was not horrible, but rather bad. I was quite disappointed to have known the plot of the movie. Will Smith's character is reli charming as he is always with his super buff body and Charlize Theron is one hot babe as well.. But the story line is just too weird for my liking..

Overall i'm rating dis movie 5/10. Can't wait to see Heath Ledger as the Joker in d upcoming The Dark Knight aka Batman!!

Just when you thought they couldn't improve condoms, they have.

New technology has allowed scientists from the Condom Consultancy in Germany to invent a new spray on condom!!!! Wow!

The spray on condom will work by pumping liquid latex on the penis and then allowing it to dry.
The new condom will be the "perfect fit" and ready to use in about 20-25 seconds.
Removal of the condom will work like regular condoms, in that you will be able to just pull it off.

ystday night, morning to be exact, past 12, i was about to enter dreamland when suddenly...............SUMTHIN flew pass at d speed of light :O so shocked. i was like owh shit wtf was dat??! Quickly go n turn on d lights 1st....jeng jeng!!

no idea when did it flew into my room..walao..and worst of all, i'm reli scared of things dat fly & crawl. gee! after a few attempts to chase it out of my room and wasted abt 15 mins of my precious sleeping time, i finally gave up! Quickly call my brave housemate to chase it out for me. Thank goodness! D big moth hinggaped at my door and i quickly shut close it n slept at peace after dat.

From dis morning till now d moth is still hanging at d wall outside my window. Sheesh. Just hope i dont get suffocated for shutting down my window d whole night!

last wkend was fun! my elder sis went to Nilai for work so since Nilai is nearby KL she decided to come over my place for d wkend. we went for dinner @ Planet Hollywood at d Golden Triangle, near Sg wang area..Place super packed, lots of angmohs in particular..n before dat fyi, i actuali managed to guide my sis how to drive thr..now i noe i'm not so 'road blind' after all..hoho

was craving for some pizzas so we ordered tuna something pizza & something something nachos..they come in reli big portions as usual but they were reli yummy esp d pizza 'tho it could've been better if its more cheesy..

After dinner we headed downstairs for a live band performance. Cover charge for guys is RM25 but for girls its FOC. girls rox! d singers were surprisingly reli good esp d gurl singer who has husky voice..her version of miley cyrus' see u again n alicia keys' no one n leone lewis' bleeding luv - awesome-ness! so gonna come back again nxt time~ \o/ \o/

oso went shopping @ Mid V whr sis bought a handbag and a purse from Guess..so nice da purses thr..hmm someone still owe me bday prez hor? *wink wink* and also bought Lucky's souvenirs..lucky dog sia..go everywhr sure he got share also..lolz..after all da shopping we went to dis new restaurant called Spaghetti Grill at d same row as Chilli's..it's actuali managed by d same ppl as Chilli's..wad can i say abt d food thr? d stuffed mushroom appetizer is a must-try, super yummy. but d baked chicken spaghetti is just so-so..not dat nice. fruit juices are bottomless, u can even change 2 other fruit juices when u refill. nice service n ambience.

Hapi Father's Day to my daddy dearest in Kuching~~ We've actuali c'brated Father's Day in kuching before I came back to KL 'coz got c'brate mother's day must also c'brate father's day. Fair and square. We went to one of dad's fav restaurant for dinner and i've also specially made a super yummy chilled strawberry cheesecake. Too bad can have 1 slice only coz nxt day going back 2 kl d. We also bought dad a Crocodile/Polo set of wallet, belt and creditcard holder, which me n Rose finally decided on after spending a long time at d men's department..hahaz. And thankfully dad liked it.

And not forgetting my two sesat papas Ansonlapek and GiantKhaLoon.. They say it's d thought dat counts right? And guess wad? I've thought of u both 2day!! XD XD hehe mai sweat la..

very very challenging indeed...and now i barely have any leisure time for myself to indulge myself in shopping trips or karaoke sessions wif my pals..i admit it..i'm reli stressed out dis sem..adding oil to d fire is our fyp or our thesis [plz don't spell it as 'testis'] !!

Anyways, i have yet got d time to blog abt my trip to melaka over the last wkend and my 2 lovely fren's bday d other day! More importantly, d launching of my fren's Hot Plate stall at Jalan Song, at peach garden i presume..his stall name is Hot Plate Super Grill..be sure to try it out as he's a very dedicated and good cook..altho' i have never tried his cooking before la..hehe..bt he has sent me aplenty of his cooked western food which almost made me salivate and stomache growling. I was supposed to post it up earlier bt considering d speed of my house line, it may take longer than i'd expected. Well jz keep ur fingers crossed.

I'll be back to post more regularly after i'm done with my project proposal for my thesis. I'm so gonna have white hair after dis sem. waaaa >.<

2 movies in 1 day! U must be thinking 'Walao eh..aneh eng! (so free)' but yeah u r absolutely right! Coz it's our leisure day every Weds~! Wooohoooo~~!! We have a pretty acceptable time-table dis semester. Thank goodness!

Mon: 3pm - 8pm

Tues: 10am - 7pm

Weds: 8am - 1pm

Thurs: 11am - 7pm

Fri: 9am - 4pm

Sat: FREE!

Can u imagine dat?! No class on Sat? Unbelievable!! So dat's my time-table for d entire 4 months. Compared to last last sem's 9am to 9pm and Sat class, it's simply insane. Dats y some of us had unbalanced hormones.

Anyways, me and my buddies went to KLCC yesterday to watch Indiana Jones. D story line is really nice and decent and it kinda reminded me of National Treasure 2, except dat Indiana Jones is slightly better. Harrison Ford is pretty cool for his age but i'm not dat much of a fan for his acting capability nowadays. He seemed to slow down a whole lot and not suitable for action-packed movies anymore. Contradicting 2 his role is his son, Shia LeBouf aka Mutt? (forgotten d) who is super buff and energetic. Juz love his acting skill! Overall it's a nice decent movie and i'm ranking it 7/10.

After dat, we went to Converse coz i wanted 2 buy new sneakers but couldnt find any nice one. So went to Everlast and bought myself a new pair of sneakers. Den went to Watson's to buy Simple facial care, trying something new. Wanna change my ZA ady coz it has alcohol content.

Den went to TGV again. Dis time to watch Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. It lasted for 2.5 hours but it didnt feel long at all. The story line is really interesting and the prince is simply charming! *drools* Just didnt fancy how easy the devilish king died. Forgotten his name. And Queen Lucy is so adorable and she is d true heroin in dis story. She's so courageous, wise and matured-thinking at such a young age. And not forgetting, d CUTE lil' mouse!! Love every moment it appeared. Overall, ranking it 9/10. Be sure to check it out if u haven't!!

Finally after 3 months long back at Kuching doing my practical training and enjoying the whole entire month of April relaxing and leisuring, now i'm back to KL again..i was not enthusiastic at all to come back dis time around probably coz i've had the home sweet home feeling stuck inside of me ady..miss everyone back home esp mummy, daddy, sis, ash, tony and frens..anywayz dis would be the final 2 sem for my advanced diploma course..so ill be super duper bz within this 2 sems..

Yesterday while waiting for my luggage at the LCCT, something happened. Well apart from the delay of the cargo for at least 40 mins, i had to bear wif a family trying to take my luggage, accidentally of coz. Thanks to my signature pinky avon plastic tied around my luggage handle, i could easily recognize my luggage. But thr's dis family who stood nearer to the cargo roller who picked up my luggage. I was so shocked and quickly rush to the rescue of my luggage. Honestly they looked abit 'sua pa lao' and i told them my luggage have the pink avon plastic and they said theirs have it too. WTF??! o.O so they entered their pin using the combination lock and obviously they couldnt open it. HAHA! BOO! Felt like wanna shout at them "Didnt I JZ TOLD ya it's MINE??!!"

Apart from that, nth else happened. I reached home safe and sound. Cleaned my room and unpacked some clothes and toiletries. Gotta get used to dis life all over again..sob sob =.=

Went to Enter K at crowne square last Friday for another round of k session before going bak 2 KL..comparing Enter K to Pop Wave is like comparing sushi to char kueh tiaw. See d difference? D interior is reli reli nice and their service is excellente. Not only dat, d audio system is fantastic..BMG audio system..d sound is so crisp and can hear da boom boom sound. And they have nice appetizers as well..their chicken wing is so yummy~ we sang till we ran out of voice den we go home. about 5 hours. Def going again in d near future..

After THREE

After THREE, d new cafe located at d old Sun Cafe at padungan road..Went there to test test the food and drinks there..and d place is reli packed..unlike many cafes whr u see many youngsters and teenagers, here thr's many adults and elderly as well..If not mistaken its operated by the same owner of the banquet, dats y d similar colour tones and d employees thr wore the banquet shirts.

There's wi-fi access here too, whr i get to test on my new P1i and d speed is amazingly fast compared to Kaya and Toast's. And there's a big projector TV as well outside. Good for viewing live soccer matches. One thing which is quite extraordinary wif their menu thr is dat they have diff menus at diff times. When me n my fren reached thr, it was 10+ so we were allowed to order western food only.

We ordered d Fish and Chips and d fish tasted reli nice and fresh. Interior wise quite comfy also. Good for yumcha sessions and will come again in d near future!

I have found my new love!!! Now I can't leave home without it and we've been stuck to each other practically every sec...And i can't stop looking at my love d moment we met..presenting d new love of my life...

TA DA!! My new Sony Ericsson P1i!! It is so sleek, cool and most importantly, multi-functioning. I love its audio and d 3.2mp camera is really nice as well wif d flash function..I have also tested its wi-fi system at Kaya & Toast TJ and it works well..Well everyone is happy except my old flame...

First visit to Pop Wave

My frens and i always plan to go Pop Wave before dis but always tak jadi go..and d last karaoke session we had was at somewhr near Sarawak Plaza i tink..terrible place and worst of all, it's open spaced..u have to take turns wif other groups of strangers to sing..dat was certainly my worst karaoke experience..1st and d last!! Finally went to Pop Wave few days ago and we sang 2 hrs only! 2 hrs! whr got enuf?!

The room isn't very big compared to KL's red box/green box/neway but it's big enough to accomodate around 4-5 ppl la..and their list of Eng songs is very limited..and worst of all, d music video of the songs are mostly not d original ones made by d artist, instead u can see a gal wearing her swimming attire playing wif her dog or sth lidat..wth! =.= for malay and indonesian songs, it's pretty good though..will i go again? YES of coz!! XD but gonna visit enter k nxt..and i also nid 2 memorize some mandarin songs as well! hmphf!

I dislike watching movie in kuching because of the cinema's audio system which is very lacking. However, becoz ka cheng itchy went to Star Cineplex last night to watch The Forbidden Kingdom..hehe..actuali for d sake to watch JET LI in action at the big screen..I seriously couldn't stand the audio system inside the cinema..it was sharp as hell and was piercing through my ear drums..and i had to close my right ear so it would be just half the effect during the advertisements..and I had thought all these while that i was the only weird one having dis prob as all my frens never had any complaints of the audio system..then hor i realized something..!!

everytime i predicted a loud scene coming, i would quickly close my right ear..and a guy sitting next to me would close his ears as well! :O so surprising! and worst still, he took tissues and stick them into his ears..LOL!! now i know that someone is weirder than me..!! ^^

But the audio system for Forbidden Kingdom was surprisingly not bad. So the movie is okay although some parts are just so ridiculous. Like even the Gods could speak English. Jacky's role as a failed scholar is acceptable dat he could speak English but Jet Li's role as the unsuccessful monk and Monkey King, and the Gods speaking in English are certainly unlogic.

Overall, the movie is watchable and good thing its not draggy at all..and both Jet Li and Jacky are really funny..esp when Jet Li scolded Jacky 'NO YOU FOOL!'and when Jacky was trying to make it rain at the desert to prove that he is a true taoist..hahaha! Gonna rate dis movie 7 out of 10.

Rich choc mud cake

Yesterday I went over to this shop called DIY, somewhr near Jade Pot, opposite d old FORDA building at jln kereta api, to buy some of my baking necessities..after 'stealing' 3 of my Aunt Shelly's cookbook, I have so many options on what to bake right now, leaving her with only 1 cookbook left..hehehe *evil grin*

Actually I wanted to bake a pavlova at first but finally decided to bake something more familiar first, like a cake.. This recipe is very very simple..u'll just need to buy the instant rich choc mud cake mix which costs only RM7 and 1 pc of butter and for the chocolate paste, I've used the Hershey's syrup, which is great for the extra chocolate goodness, and last but not least, some water..

Everything is very basic and it is extremely simple and dis is definitely the easiest cake that I've ever baked so far..it took about 20 minutes or so to prepare the batter and pouring it in the cake tin..and 40 minutes later...vualah!!!

Sadly my cake got burnt a lil' on the top layer so I had to slice those black-ish areas out, therefore the holes here and there.. well, dont judge a book by its cover coz the cake tastes real goooooooood! Chill the cake and it'll taste even better!

Gurmit Singh aka Phua Chu Kang, the infamous Contractor who owns PCK Pte Ltd, the best Contractor in Singapore, JB and some say Batam, stepped foot at tHe Spring yesterday to meet the audiences and to promote Singapore as they're currently having a half price deal for a few Singapore tourist hot spots..

As usual, he did a very good job entertaining the audiences with his wicked antics and hilarious laughing sound..everyone burst out laughing at practically every word that came out from his mouth..hee hee heeee heeee hee hee..! its so contagious!! He'll be making another appearance on Sunday at 4pm and he came out for like less than half an hour only..

A car stalling can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Check that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it's clear, check the jubilee clips holding the vacuum pipes onto the inlet manifold. Or it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the carburettor float chamber.

During my site visit today, my colleague used another route and we entered this Malay kampung area whr i could see them doing sampans d old fashion way..u can jz imagine how simple is their life or how simple their life could be right in front of ur eyes at dat particular moment..one of the finished sampan is being sold around rm1500+ which is quite reasonable imo..dun tink its jz an ordinary sampan whr u hav to row it urself, but its installed with d mechanical engine..dun pray pray ok! so high-tech! but if u like d old-fashioned rowing, u can always turn off d engine and row urself.

after dat, we continued to go to d marine base site..and on d way, we stopped by this place called kampung pasir putih or something like dat..nearby muara tebas..which is abt half hours drive form Kuching city..i dare to bet only a few ppl in kuching have ever heard of dis place..oh man! d place is amazing!!!! the view there is simply breathtaking! and u could still see part of the soft white sand..but then its so disappointing to see lots of mangroves growing all over the place..and lots of dead coconut trees too..

and u actuali have to walk quite a distance to reach the beach shore..my hands r so itchy i couldnt stop myself from collecting a few nice seashells as my own souvenir..:P

Attended grandma's bday at Chef's Special at 3rd mile last Sat..it's her 73rd bday i think..d food thr was okay and they hav karaoke sets in each room..

during d cake cutting mom asked grandpa to giv d bday lady a bday kiss..and he did! grandpa kissed grandma twice after she blew d bday cake! so sweeet! u go grandpa! Have been missing all those reunions since i left for KL and its so hectic having to update all my aunties and uncles each time i meet them when i'm back to kch..both my parents have a pretty big family esp my mom..and some which i can hardly recognize if i happen to bump into them at d streets of kch..

and my aunt's baby daughter is JUST d most stubborn baby i've ever met! she has a bad tantrum and does not let anyone carry her except her mommy..her own daddy she also doesn't wan..my countless attempt has failed miserably as well..and her parents had to bring her baby chair dat somehow looks like 'tam pui' and even a laptop just for her to watch barney..simply mom and dad's lil' princess..

In life, u do have to make comparisons in order to make d best decision or find d best option dat suits u most...such as.... d BEST donut dat suits ur taste bud and give u dat tingling sensation or an excitement ooze dat takes u to cloud 9 at ur very 1st bite~! xD therefore, i chose to pick a war between these 2 donut chain factories, big apple and jco donuts. In KL, u can find big apple easily when u go shopping at Mid V, One U, subang parade or the curve while J.co is at Pavillion..mayb they hav other branches right now la..and u'll be very surprised to see how long d queue is and wondering wad makes is so special dat ppl wud wait patiently for it..its simply undescribable..try it out urself~ my fren said she tried it and its normal le..well dats wad comparison is all abt babe~

after nagging my mum to buy a new digicam for weeks, finally we've gotten a brand new one yesterday~~!..XD

at 1st my family n i went to PIKOM PC fair at permata carpark around 12pm but d place was pack like hell and so stuffy and warm and one can easily kena squezzed penget like pancake. we went to see canon and sony booths. sony's t series also not bad but d touch screen is nt convinient for my dad to use as his hand is so big. decided to leave early so my sis jz bought a kingston pendrive 2gb for rm26. juz 2 months ago i bought my pendrive mini 2gb for rm47. so kek tiokz!! after dat we went to Hock lee centre to see whether they have nikon s600 thr.

i'd thought dat d nikon s600 is pretty good considering d price for such cool specs such as 10megapixels and 28mm wide angle lens and etc..but the sales guy mr kueh told us dat nikon was good before but now d quality has deteriorated, mainly coz its produced in thailand now..and he recommended us the canon digital ixus 860i, which was eventually my 2nd option after hearing good reviews abt it in d internet. apart from being small sized, it has cool specs such as 28mm wide angle lens and 3.0" lcd and it takes very clear images and videos. U can even interchange the colour of ur shirt wif ur frens' in d pic taken. now dats fun! :P

so we bought it for RM1270, rm29 cheaper than PC fair and got d same freebies as offered at pc fair such as 2gb memory card, casing, mini tripod, umbrella, metal strap and rm100 voucher. becoz we added an additional screen protector (RM39) we got it for rm20, so d total was rm1290.

Camera aside, i also got myself my very very very VERY 1st hair dye!!! XD

I wanted sth brown and reddish so i chose d colour light ash brown or blonde i tink, forgotten d..since it was my 1st hair dye i expected a darker version for my super dark black hair wouldnt absorb d dye well although d hairstylist assured me dat it will be d same..2 hrs later, it turned out to be exactly d same shade..quite impress wif them..however i jz read from d internet dat ash will turn ur hair green..and i was so so shocked =O / o.O and wanted to bomb my hair dresser so badly but on 2nd thought.. green hair is quite cool too. :)

extremely exhausted right now...and i dun noe y..mom said its abnormal for ppl to get sleepy most of d time..maybe got some sickness..sheesh! mayb i nid 2 go for full body chk-up. even while im sms-ing my fren i almost doze off..but still have to work..IF ONLY...i'd take a full day leave instead of HALF! grr! dad also scold me silly. coz i dun get paid training here unlike my other classmates at other companies. =.= some say 'why dont juz quit?' cant la. u think so easy meh? how m i gonna pass dis sem later? and sumore later kena blacklisted by the company and d company's circle of frens.

well well the half day leave is 'coz it's the 'cheng beng' festival today and i went to the sarawak buddhist temple mainly to pay respect to my dearly beloved fren aka my da ke ai..who is so selfish to leave us all without saying goodbye..hmphf..!

so i went to the temple early and called up my fren, nick coz i didnt c anyone familiar thr yet..mana tau d time has been postponed..sikui nick didnt update me pun..so i walk here and there inside and around d temple looking for my fren's name plate, carrying along a big bouquet of chrysanthemum flowers..got at least 4-5 rounds ah..how embarrasing.. =.= and d ppl sitting outside look at me like im an alien lidat..aiii! finally i've decided to ask d temple caretaker, i tink she is, d place where my fren's name plate is located..and dats how i'm no longer lost and clueless..*phew*

finally d others came and we prayed awhile, yea even though i'm a christian but my family and i do visit temples and pay respect thr..and thr was also a monk hired to pray over my fren..we all followed thru d ceremony which lasted for abt 15 mins..

on my way to Maybank today i was still daydreaming while im behind d steering wheel dat i made a right turning without noticing a perodua rusa coming from d opposite direction..d driver avoided me and almost terpelanting..i felt so bad and was totally alert after dat..learnt my lesson..

In d afternoon, after sending my mum off to work it was still early..so i went to permata car park for d PIKOM pc fair exhibition alone..sob sob..whoa reli alot of ppl man..quite pack and d space is reli limited le..d pc fair is reli small compared to KL's pc fair..i went to chk out sony and canon booths offering digicam and i found out both brands offer quite similar digicam specs apart from d appearance wise..so its quite hard for me to decide now..and my good fren's sis is working at d Sony booth so i asked her can get discounts or not? she replied me can give more free gifts only..aiyer..sadness!

Yea thr r also lots of lenglui promoters..dats y so many guys lo..but didnt c any leng chai thr 2day..pc fair, ill be back dis Sun wif my walking banks! jz wait for me!

Hapi April fools' day everyone!! Was super busy these few days to even realize its d beginning of another month..cant wait until i end my internship end of this month..yesh!! XD

Recently, i'm so addicted to this Korean series called Likable or not aka i hate you but it's fine..it's currently airing @ Astro chan 303 @ 7.25pm-8pm every mon-fri..and its pretty much different from any typical korean dramas..even my dad who never watches any drama series thinks its 'likable'..haha..well d drama revolves around d life of a few young working adults @ bonjour foods..namely Na Danpung, d cute and gorgeous gal with a winning temper, the fun and naughty Kang Baekho who is the step-son of d owner of Bonjour foods, Ujin the happy-go-lucky and cheerful researcher and Seonjae, the charming but materialistic brother of Danpung...there's also Jiyeong, the beautiful daughter of a pet shop owner and Sua, d rich and spoilt girl who's d wife of Seonjae and step sis of Baekho..there are lots of conflicts, love and family issues involved as d story develops..

But initially when we realized that we never actually saw the character get killed, we just had that knowledge in our back pocket and moved forward with the narrative as we intended. Which was: she's out of the picture, Michael's [feeling guilty] and Lincoln is freaking out because if they did that to her, they could do that to his son. It really gave us a real push for the season.

I desperately need a new digicam after my former Canon digital ixus became faulty becoz of my stoooopidness! All my fault..y m i so careless? haihz..now waiting for the PIKOM PC fair dis April 4th to hook up any good bargains there..but dunno which model shud i ask mom 2 buy..hmm another Canon or go for the sleek and gorgeous Sony? :/

Anywayz, i wanted to enrol for a dance lesson since im quite free on weekends and i went to Earth Dance but they have closed all lessons for adults coz the instructor said dat she jz got married and she said she has to make family planning..jz d right timing..*SiGhz* my next target is Right steps @ 2.5 mile near OTS..i thought i was going to enrol thr and so hav my lunch @ Grandma's hand made noodle, jz beside it..

It claimed to be the Klang Teluk Kulai version of bak kut teh and thr were lots of variety to choose from, like my dad's fav big bone 'tua kut', pork leg, and so forth similar to Klang's style..the soup tasted quite nice, quite pekat and not too dillute but not enuf herbs taste and the soy sauce is super salty..but i like it! xD overall, it's my fav bak kut teh place in Kuching as of now..

After my site visit last week, my colleague brought me to an interesting place rather isolated and hidden inside a Malay kampung for lunch..it is sumwhr near d DBKU state library..the place has got many many lovely flowers esp orchids hanging around d eatery place..the place also provides homestay but i wonder who would stay at such an isolated place, wif not much to do around..the food here is quite nice and the owner a Malay woman from Penang by d name Kak Rom is vr frenly and she kept askin us abt our food and even recommended us few dishes. D nasi kerabu goreng is so yummylicious! it has d herbs taste which isnt too strong..but d nasi lemuni is jz so-so..not recommmended coz d anchovies are so 'chao yeu kao' and d drinks are also nice except dat there r many ants swimming inside. my colleague jz drank everyth down his throat and i was like o.O walao! some of d visitors even minta-minta her orchids and Kak Rom gave them for free. orchid lovers quickly go n grab one of her orchids~ :P

Sooo delighted dat thr's sushi king in kuching finally! Went to s.k @ the spring for d 2nd time last Sat for lunch wif my sis, Vivien while mom and dad went elsewhr as sushi isnt exactly my parents' cup of tea. When we got thr d place was super packed. Have 2 queue up 4 quite awhile. We ate about 12 plates of sushi altogether..and d waiter kept on sending wrong orders 2 our table..gee..so many interruptions..Vivien said she needs to get used to eating various types of sushi first before mom lets her go for her homestay trip in Japan end of dis yr..haha..so syok! hmphf! i also wanna go neh!! wonder y during my high sch days dun hav such event. :( anywayz our total bill came and it was only rm32++ instead of the supposedly rm60++. o.O surprised? its becoz of the mystyle coupon which i've purchased thru sms days earlier for a buy 1 free 1 offer @ sushi king for various kinds of sushi @ converter belt..which only costs rm3.50 and u have to use d coupon within 1 wk of d purchase date..

For those that are into outdoor activities or might be a nature lover, then this place might be the right place to spend your weekend or holiday. Its at the outskirt of kuching and about an hours drive from Kuching. I was quite interested to join my colleague, Melvin for this hiking trip coz i have always wanted to go hiking or mountain climbing since i was young, but since it's a Sunday i have to pass it as i have to attend mass in d morning. However, Melvin went for the hike and told me luckily i didnt go as it was reli muddy and slippery but he has some great pics 2 share. Girls, nid not worry abt leeches coz there aren't any..as told by Melvin. But thr r some essential things 2 bring during ur hiking trip such as cap, extra clothes, sunblock, lots of water, towel, shorts/khakis, camera..dats all i cud remember..let these pics do d talking..

I personally like d place in d last pic most..it seems reli cool..like an isolated island and there's 3 lost guys there..hehe..reminded me of the movie Cast-away/Lost..However, dis amazing place is going to be cleared soon and the villagers will be asked to move out as the Gov will build a water dam at the place. Dis is so saddening. So enjoy this place while u still can..

Ever since im on my practical training..i've been brought to construction sites and all and i've been walking on mud and soil dat smells like shit..all of dis is actually kinda fun and interesting as it kills time faster when u're not in d office doing taking-offs and facing d computer 24/7. However, d cons to dis is of coz d enemy of all girls, sunburn! Being a QS, dis is included in our scope of work and we have to get our butt up and about, not juz limited in d office. Dats y i've s.o.s-ed my mum 2 get me a sunblock after my terrible encounter of sunburn d other day. I couldnt sleep well coz it hurt so badly esp my shoulder part and my sunburn went from light red -> red -> black. Honestly i was freaked out..i mean who wouldnt right? :/

This is so so important to me right now..without it i'd rather die..and it's effective as well as i didnt get any sunburn after my last site visit. Not only dat it provides UVA/UVF shield protection. Priced at only rm29.90, its worth it!

Waterfront cafe

Went to Hilton Kuching's waterfront cafe the other day for their buffet dinner..when someone mentions buffet, i will normally have d thought dat its like d buffet i had at saisaki, KL. The buffet dat i had at Saisaki was purrrfect..excellent..although it specializes in japanese cuisine wif menus like sashimi, tempura, teppayanki and all kinds of sushi, it has a wide variety of western and asian cuisine as well like lamb rib, oysters, mussels, scallops, cod fish, crab and prawns and also peking duck roll. Dat was my perception of a gd buffet.

Hence i was quite anticipating my buffet at Hilton. Surprisingly, d variety wasnt much. They have japanese cuisine dat night but the choices were minimum. They have salmon sushi, tuna sushi, unagi sushi and d squid sushi; salmon, tuna and unagi sashimi and prawn cocktail. And also miso soup which is very creamy..which is quite unique..as most miso soups r more bland and sourish..d quality is satisfactory though so it makes up for d lack of variety all in all..There are also pizza thr which i find reli nice, like tom's pizza at waterfront last time..and d deserts r nice as well..

The workers there were also reli warm and friendly and d supervisor even helped me 2 hold my soup bowl..hehe..so touched..it reli deserves its 4/5 star rating! XD

Sighting of Jesus and Mother Mary @ Simunjan

While some of us may be aware of this, some may never heard of it even..like some who believe and some may not, it's all in the eyes of the beholder..altho this incident has been a month plus long..but our faith should always remain and never fade. Since now is d season of lent..do not indulge urself in too much pleasure, cut down on ur spending, eat less, drink less, travel less, gamble less, d only thing more is pray~

After this news broke, my mum, aunt, grandma, mum's fren, fren's sis and god bro Ash, went to the actual place to witness it with their own eyes..the travel distance there is approximately 3 hours from Kuching..dad actually didnt let mum drive dat long distance but soon let her off also..so they went there and saw as appeared in the newspaper..the half cross-shaped leave and as for the image of Jesus, it can only be seen very very clearly in the photo taken using digicam.

The pastor at my church mentioned this incident to us the week after and told us that dis may be a personal or private appearance which means that it is meant to appear to the family of the community stayin thr so as to say dat he public should not interfere or overreact over dis incident. The child of one of the family thr had passed away few wks earlier be4 d sighting due to a parachute crash sumwhr in Msia.

It's time to post again..there's so many things happening lately and sometimes i am just simply plain lazy to blog abt them..=.=

Anywayz, i've been back to my home sweet home @ meow meow city for almost a week ady. and it feels GREAT!! the most grateful thing among all - air cond!! my house in KL is like soOooOo super warm, imagine having a sauna at ur home everyday..gosh! and dis is d main reason y i'm so anticipated to move to a new place when i return to KL dis time around..hopefully my new condo will totally portray d true climate of our country, cooling and warm and not just warm. Good news to the homeless..our Master room is still up for rent..anyone looking for a big room wif nice view, wad r u waiting for? xD

Kay so basically i'm spending most of time dis few days becoming my younger sis' full time tutor, and i totally understd y d 'ubans' or 'white hair' for most lecturers/teachers and d reason y i wud never become a successful teacher, it requires lots of patience, and did i mention patience? yeah dats wad im lack of. gee.

That's y d hesitation wif my classmates when they eventually wanted to come to kuching for a trip and knowing dis fact, changed their minds in d end. Wad can i say..in terms of food, sarawak food is always d best compared to other states in M'sia (imo) and in terms of entertainment, we do hav quite a kickass fun nightlife here although most clubs close earlier around 1 or 2 am. The most important thing is to experience new things and make every experience an eye opener coz we only live life once, so live life to the fullest. ^^

Gosh finally BYE BYE BYE to exams, no more sleepless nights, no more nightmares, no more suffocated feeling..however, exams dis time around is a real disappointment..>.< :( =.= apart from d last min study, all d memorizing until half dead and burning midnite oil didnt help me much in my exams..so so sad..jz hoping dat i'll pass all subjects wif flying colours right now..God bless me!

Went to catch dis movie yesterday and it rocks! 2 thumbs up~ Totally hilarious and throughout entertaining. Some parts did grossed me out a lil' though such as d scene whr amanda bynes kissed Seaweed and where Tracy's parents kissed..John Travolta did an amazing job, all d dancing in heels and singing..whoa..cool! Shud giv him best actress/actor award? Go chk it out if u havent. Ooooo Baltimoreeee~~~

Everyone noes wad dis gigantic, humongous structure is..guess it nid not any introductn but wth, its d eye of msia..i havent been here before, as in facing it right in front of my very own eyes, since its grand launching..surprising surprising..everyone in KL must have been here ages ago..however, its quite surprising to find thr's still quite a lot of ppl here to view d huge wheel. Went down to Malacca for the weekend last Fri as i'm having my study week now, wif my sis' bf who happened to be in KL last week..got to ride on his new Honda City..keke..went down 'coz i seriously desperately needed to get a new Curl Activator for my hair S.O.S! So exhausted today. Woke up at 7.30am and went to the ISM Office for the briefing conducted by Reg. Quantity Surveyors. The main purpose of the talk is to guide us students regarding our future route on where should we go after our Diploma studies and regarding our career path. But den after the talk which lasted for abt 3 hours, felt a lil longer than dat, its like 'uh kana boh' (got like dun have) meaning thr's still ??? surrounding our minds. Those surveyors left us in a confusing mode last last. Really swt kena them. Still pondering whether i should continue at TARC or UTAR. Imperia is likely to be out of my list ady. Dear God, plz help me to make the right choice~~ xD

Anyways after the briefing, was supposed to go Mid Valley for lunch but ended up watching Rogue Assassin, starring Jet Li, my childhood idol, instead as there were light refreshments at the ISM office earlier on..Rogue Assassin is a pretty nice and decent movie, mainly becoz of Jet Li's suave and super cool attitude and not to say, his kick-ass martial arts moves. Compared to Jackie Chan, Jet Li is still steady and rocking it although both are aging ady. Gonna rate the movie 8/10.

Did something reli embarrasing today..arghhh...s2piak Panda eggy!! And thanks for the makan angin trip round KL~ hahaha xD wanna do some revisions ady..so not in d mood..sobsob

U know u've been visiting the atm machines super frequent, u noe u've been visiting the mall super often..but then u realize at the end of the day where hav all ur money gone to? Haha..anywayz here's some tips on how to save cost:

1. Use Rapid KL bus to and fro from college, RM1 ONLY for the whole day. Super worth it! ***

2. Share taxi to the mall with 3 friends

3. Watch new movies off cinema, through online streaming.. ***

4. Yumcha at home, fresh home-made milo ais and susu, etc

Can't think of anymore as of right now..mind totally blank..the weather is freakin' cold right now..guess dats d reason of brain freeze..hmphf..my finals around d corner and im still slackering around..gotta tambah minyak liao!!

Conservative Malaysians

Unlike any other developing countries, Malaysia is still lack behind in terms of the people's mentality and attitude. Most of them particularly being the older generations. Their thinking method is much contrasting to the Hollywood lifestyle, which are open-minded and easily adaptable. This is plain obvious when Hollywood-made movies concerning religion or having sexual scenes are banned for good and not allowed to be screened at our local theatres. How can all these lead to a modern society? Have they ever heard the saying, 'the stricter or the more u control over something, the more likely they will rebel against u' This is the same as our community. Even with those bannings, it doesnt stop Malaysians from downloading or buying pirated versions of the movie. So are they any differences at all? Yes, and dats limiting the resource income of our entertainment industry..

Take another example, in Malaysia, entertainers or performers are not allowed to expose their body skin during concerts..Heck those conservative Msians do their best to ban these group of ppl from coming into our country. Gwen Stefani, famous for her sometimes over-the-top fashion style, will perform at Bukit Jalil nxt week, if thr's no interference or wadsoeva. Link

Those conservative Malaysians should just keep their thoughts to themselves if they cant handle what the fast-paced world has got to offer. As for us, we shall say bring it on! We want more! ^^

i'm broke! And it's juz d mid of the month. Oh my!! Anywayz, all 4 of us which includes me, Sarah, Wai chi and Anson :P went to Jusco today as there's 3 hours break in between, as usual, on Thursdays..We had lunch at McD, fast food again as usual! Too much of fast food and chickens in my daily diet ah..chamz so unhealthy! After lunch, we went kai kai and finally ended up here...

There's no such thing as age limit at an arcade. Haha..so we went thr to slack around and me and daddy challenged on the horse riding game which was actually really unique and quite fun..other games was just ordinary but out of boredom and lack of activity at the small Jusco, wth, we just played all the games they hav to offer. After that, we went to Factory Outlet Shop(F.O.S.) to shop around and we've found some really interesting items for sale...

My elder sis, Roselyn, sent me a pic of her baby puppy, Lucky...i missssssssss him soooo muchhh!!! :( He's still as cute and d poor boy is not feeling very healthy, those s2piak lice bit him..therefore he has to wear the plastic protector thinggy around his neck to avoid him scratching his face area..do get well soon aye Lucky!! sygz~~ XD

So dis afternoon after lecture ended at 12pm, my dearest friend, Panda @ Smelly Egg was kind enough to drive me and my housemate, Mary to fetch our puppy, QQ who was sick to visit d vet for injections. It had runny nose and symptoms of skin disease. Therefore we drove it to a Pet Clinic at Danau Kota. On the way thr, sth very unexpected happened. QQ vomitted! Basically everything in its bowels came out. GROSS!! Upon arriving d clinic, the Malay Vet greeted us and was asking us repeatedly whether are we certain abt keeping QQ as its kinda sick and nids much care. Without much consideration, we decided to keep QQ. So the Malay Vet gave her 2 shots and a syrup, most probably antibiotic, which costs RM70 in total. Koyak betul dompetku dis mth! After dat we went to the carwash to have the car cleaned and vacuumed, which costs another RM20. It was quite cheap for a carwash in KL but the Indian guy was like quite dishonest. Told him earlier dat the back part of d car is dirty and i kept stressing it to him but only after cleaning the outer part of d car did he say he would charge additional RM10 as they never clean vomit be4. wtf??!! Otherwise could hav washed the car twice ady. Cacated!

*Introducing QQ, latest family member, 4 months old, unknown breed

Later in d evening was supposed to meet Audrey, my ex sec schmate, who used to sit beside me in class in Form 5 and used to be partners in crime, as we havent met for like 2 years ady since we went for separate routes. I went to KL and she left for Russia. Typically KL, d jam is totally unbearable. Reached Sg Wang only at 6.30pm and wasnt in time to meet her as her fren arrived to fetch them back ady. Gonna rearrange our shopping mission to dis Fri wif her and Cla. So my housemate and I ended up shopping ourselves instead and went to Sushi King, again, for dinner..gotta say d sushi King at d junction of Sg Wang and Lowyat Plaza isn't dat yummy..d salmons are sliced thinly and d wasabi doesnt taste like wasabi. No more nxt time plz!

On the way home, someone suddenly shouted my name. Turned over and it was Alson..my long lost friend from Sibu..we havent met since he visited me in Kuching and den he left for New Zealand so it was really nice to see him again.

Animal dramas

Lately, my house is transforming into a pet shop or mini zoo. First there were hamsters, then came the tortoises and now thr's a puppy to add to the collection. My housemates and I have no idea whose puppy it was but it appeared suddenly at our house garage yesterday evening, looking wet and dirty. We fed it with milk and Tiger biscuits and it munched down hungrily. Judging by its physical appearance it appeared to be a female dog. We bought dog food and a nice pinky chain for it today and the pet grooming guy told us dat the puppy is suffering from a skin disease which needs injection. So we're gonna bring it to visit a vet asap.

Well, in every relationship, there certainly are misunderstandings which led to fights and quarrels. This does not apply to human beings alone, but also to animals too. Our dearest hamsters, a male and a female, well d male got d female pregnant lately and my housemate's bf was lucky enough to witness the whole baby-making process..hahah..and in our human being world, pregnant women are more likely to be super bad-tempered and will show their tantrum easily. Who noes dat d female animals or shud i say female hamsters would behave exactly the same. It actually started the fight with the male hamster and bite it, on most occasions it would bite d male's balls, causing the male hamster to turn upside down and having 'bengkak' balls. Therefore, We had to separate both hamsters and place the male hamster in the turtle aquarium instead. Haha..poor lil creature~

SHOPPING!! This is the best method and natural therapy to reduce stress and relax urself. Destination dis week is Time Square. Went there to catch Rush Hour 3, the new comedy-action film starring Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker. All i can say is this movie is super hillarious thanks to Mr Tucker wif his antics. Otherwise it might have been a rather bland and boring film as there aren't much high-packed actions this time around. And much props to George as well, he's truly d man in dis movie!

After movie, we went to hav sushi, yet again, at Sushi King. Basically having sushi almost every week when i'm out shopping. Just can't get enough of them i guess. Anywayz, Taiwan pop group, S.H.E is having a concert at SG Wang 2day. Being a banana, theoretically, i do listen to their songs too but i am just not crazy over them. Their songs are juz okay and most of their movies pretty much suck. Their concert makes the jam in KL on Fri nights from busy to super duper busy. And that's when monorails and LRT really come to good use.

I also got to learn that one of my fav footballer, non either than Becks aka David Beckham is recovering from his ankle injury and will be playing for his new team LA Galaxy soon. Yeay!! Wif Becks back on the field, the LA Galaxy will surely gain more winnings. Rock on Becks! XOXO!

Just finished watching The Simpsons Movie today and i thought that it's really funny n entertaining although i wasnt totally a big fan of the all-time cartoon The Simpsons..pardon me but before dis all i noe abt the simpsons are that they made up of 5 members in the family living in a community of yellow coloured skin people..hehe so here goes the synopsis to those 'sua tus' out thr:

When Homer Simpson mistakenly pollutes the river with toxic waste from his "Pig Crap" silo, he causes the EPA to encase Springfield in a glass dome, and must save them before President Schwarzenegger gives the order for the town to be destroyed.

The message conveyed in d story was clear that family bond is very important and we've got to preserve the environmental and protect it from global warming. Overall, it wasnt a bad movie.

Yesterday I also got to catch the new Thai horror flick, Perng Mang, meaning haunted drum in Thai, which was only aired in GSC Mid Valley. Still wondering why it wasn't or hasn't aired in other GSC Branches (Time Sq) and also TGV cinemas(KLCC). Well the story pretty much goes like dis:

Ping, a young nobleman, has retired from the service of the crown in order to become a musician and becomes a student of Master Duang, a famous musician who owns a Perng Mang, a sort of traditional drum set, which possesses the power to bring success or death to people. However, Ping has fallen in love with a girl, Thip, who seems to have some special connection to the cursed drums.

The story-line of this movie is really predictable but i still do enjoy the show. It did freaked me out at some point and also did touched my heart. Playin wif my emo. hmphf. This horror cum romance movie is much similar to other Thai horror flicks in terms of the incredibly disgusting manner the victims die in the movie..much salutation to the Thai movie directors & producers..maybe they shud giv some tips or become d 'si fu' to our hopeless Msian directors who wanna take a try at d horror department. Just take the movie 'Possessed' for example.

Went to The Curve last Thurs wif my classmates as there were 3 hours break in between our nxt lecture. Arriving there by taxi, we headed to Sakae Sushi(personally one of my fav Sushi restaurants) for our lunch as we were starving. After lunch we went for a lil' shopping (lil' considering the limited time..sigh) and bought myself a new Fila bag. Then we went to the much-talked-abt Donut shop called Big Apple, located behind T.G.I Friday's, to take-away their donuts. Considering the price of 12 pieces for RM17, it is quite a bargain. They do have some unique flavours for a donut, such as durian and chicken floss. And those that r watchin out for their sugar level can opt for their less-sugar donut. So we took a dozen of them with different flavours each..and true to its well-known reputation, it does live up to it 'coz its super yummylicious. Dunkin Donuts, boooo!!

p/s: the messiness of the donuts in d pics above is unavoidable as it was raining heavily dat day >.<

It's gonna be a few more days from now towards Valentine's and Chinese New Year..i'll be doing much shopping and much much more shopping dis few days..i'm gonna venture Sg Wang, Times Square, Mid Valley, KLCC, One Utama and Sunway Pyramid to fulfil my shopping list..my family will be coming over on d 16th Feb and my elder sis will be coming down a few hours earlier than my dad,mum and younger sis so i'll be meeting her 1st before we chk into our hotel. We'll be heading over to Bangkok on d 17th or 18th, not sure..following d tour ppl..kinda enthusiastic abt dis trip..wanna try their famous tom yam and have a look wif my own eyes on their famous ah kuas aka she-males..keke...

Met my ex st-3 schmate Ermillia today inside d monorail while on my way to Times Square..was pondering for a while who is dis familiar looking gal..then she smiled to me and it striked me dat she should be my sec schmate but i wasnt sure whether she's my Batu Lintang or st.3 classmate. Then she mentioned Audrey's name and ahh i noe liao..keke...Ermillia sat in front of me and Audrey during sec sch..n she was one of class's sleeping queens dat time..her hair's short now and she's currently studying in Pahang..wad a small world..baru few months ago i met Clarissa at The Curve..hehe..it's a nice feeling meeting old frens in a busy and crowded city like KL. And so i watched Blood and Chocolate today at Times Square and the show turned out to be nth like wad i've expected. I've expected more violence and action packs but it is more of a touching and romantic movie..definitely 2 thumbs up for d movie..bought a pair of shoes and leggings today but couldnt find d necklace dat i wanted..hope for better luck nxt time.. XD

Finally got back my baby z500 for the repair price of RM130..and the s2piak hp technician, whom i dislike to the uttermost, forgot to take out his 64mb micro-sd memory card, which was left inside my phone..keke..serves him right!! *bluekZ*

Also, i was really surprised to meet my buddy, Clarissa, also ex-teresian, at the curve,

after our sushi meal the other day..havent seen her for ages n she's currently studying at Sunway College..den i saw my fren of mine, also ex-teresian's bf & his family too at lot 10..dunno got c wrongly or not..

Couldnt believe my ears when our English lecturer said dat i was absent for class for 7 times, dats like exceeding the limit for being barred from exam..geez..i was like O.O..thanks to 'someone' ler..!! His record was only 6 times..grrr!! Dat's wad u get if u keep playing 'fake-absent' in class and when ur teacher's ear is problematic..swt swt swt=.=

finals coming soon...Japanese exam on dis coming Thurs..other subjects starting on d 25th onwards...argh..not again...going to do last minute revisions again as usual..God bless me!! ^^

There were fireworks display last night at lake titiwangsa..planned to go but didnt go..coz d traffic was very jam and kinda tired yesterday..it was due to the launching of Visit Malaysia 2007 at lake titiwangsa, which is very near to my place..the main attraction there is the Eye on Malaysia, basically it's the ferris wheel ride..and the charge per person is RM15 if not mistaken..if one would like to have special treatment like a VIP, then they can hire for VIP gondolas with a maximum of 8 passengers for RM100..only for a 12 minutes ride..considering the speed of the ferris wheel, thr will juz be a few rounds up in the air..is it worth it? perhaps..someone please go n try it n let me noe ya..^^

Having the guilt for missing Sunday masses too often, i've decided to be a better Catholic by not skipping masses in the new year. So i went to Good Shepherd Church dis morning for its Chinese mass at 10.45am as i couldnt make it for d 8.30am english mass. :P As i just reached, all i could see was the Indian decorations and thr are super lots of Indians dis morning..feeling pretty lost, i went to the Mother Mary statue to pray and then went back home..only to be told by Anthony, my churchmate dat they're celebrating Ponggol(an Indian festival) today. No wonder lah..omg..missed mass again.. >.<

Went to KLCC to catch the movie Love Wrecked last night. The comedy, starring Amanda Bynes was totally hilarious..it's a movie about a young teen (Amanda) who is truly madly deeply in love wif a rockstar and gets to spend her once in a lifetime opportunity being stranded on an island wif him, totally alone.. only with the hunky-but-good-for-nothing rockstar not knowing dat they r not actually stranded. There is also a funny rivalry going on between Amanda and her enemy, Alexis to catch the heart of the man they love.

After movie, a fren of mine invited me to Maison Club yesterday night and it was my 1st time experimenting the place. U can see lots of luxury cars such as BMW,Merz and Sport cars parked at d surrounding area of the club.The place was pretty cool and and the interior is more to the classic style..wooden-antique kinda style..there are sofa seats and large individual tables which are suitable for group gatherings.. As for the music, it was just okay for me, most of d r&b/trance songs are outdated, however the DJ managed to give it a good spin.

Didnt sleep much last night as i had to sit for my Japanese exam early dis morning. Went to college at 9am and waited for our lecturer for almost an hour. So much for waiting..didnt even caught a glimpse of his shadow..me and Anson ended up going to our Site Surveying lecture which starts at 10am. It was a fun way to start the day..we get to comment and criticise on our lecturers by filling in a survey form. For those DQS2 students, it's not a surprise on which lecturer will get the most critism and disliking..it's no other than...*drumroll*.....our Estimating lecturer...even got his car scratched twice by our naughty friends..dat lecturer is certainly one of the worst lecturer/teacher who ever taught me throughout my entire life..

Time flies REALLY fast...we've made it to another year again to ---> 2007!! Year 2006 has been quite a rough year for most of us..have our ups and downs throughout the year and also lots of cheers and unhappiness...but it has also thought us lots of values and experiences as well..as for me..i've made it through college life the entire year of 2006 and its been quite a great year filled wif obstacles and challenges..will be finishing my Diploma in Quantity Surveying dis year and continue my advanced diploma or degree, locally or overseas..still undecided..

Anywayz, celebrated my new year's eve the other day at Ruums Club and the place was pretty cool, lively and energetic and there was a live band that night before the clock ticks past twelve..didnt get to see any fireworks though dis year..>.<~~

Gonna start doing my new year resolutions soon and hopefully they'll work out real fine..keke..can't really recall wad was my resolutions last year but there r still stuffs dat i have never done before..such as invading the Petronas Twin Towers' bridge, gonna do dat someday..hopefully my fear for heights will not stop me from doing so..Also for dis year, a few of my frens will go overseas to further their studies, one of my good fren will be leaving to the States and another fren will be leaving to UK..

Spent my Christmas in Melaka dis year..though the state has been kinda badly affected by the flood, but the X'mas mood is still strong within the town folks..the shopping centres are still flooded wif ppl..the area where my sis is staying is not affected at all but the town area is flooded..roads were blocked and from wad i heard, last week when the flood juz hit the state, the water level went as high until the roof top..well sadly i didnt manage to see any of the affected areas..

MERRY X'MAS TO ALL, regardless whether u're celebrating or not...and to Santa, i've been uhmm quite a 'good' gal dis year, though i did lots of things i shouldn't..being very disobedient and naughty, i still love my mummy n daddy n dearest family and frenz lots, so please grant my X'mas wishes dis year okie.. Since we don't have class 2day, we decided to go and have some fun..as usual..XD So we went for an early brunch today and then headed over to Sg Wang by cab to do some X'mas shopping..me and Wai Chi shopped together while the guys, Anson and Jasper shopped their own..its just kinda weird shopping wif guys along especially when u wanna buy all those girly girly stuff and they're there watching u..not fun..so after shopping, we went to Low yat Redbox for karaoke session..1pm-3pm..redbox has a whole lotta more choice of songs as compared to Neway but their audio quality is lower. After dat we went for a few games of bowling at time square and i think luck is not on my side today, keep doing kerja amal, cuci longkang =.= must practice more!! Anywayz after that we went for dinner and then did some more shopping! Yes, since thr's sale everywhr now in KL. Shopping babeh! As me and Anson were waiting for Jasper to do his shopping in Lovely Lace, we took our time taking funny and interesting pics..after we fnished taking pics wif almost all d soft toys in the shop, the sales assistant came and said "Hey tak boleh ambil gambar di sini"..sorry too late!! :P

Yesh..2 presentations (Building Acts and Contracts and English) finally over..XD less hectic now..and much more relaxed..here are some pics from our Amazing Race Adventure a week ago wif my groupmates, Anson n Cla in order to get useful information for our Building Acts and Contracts assignment..kenny drove us there and den dropped us off at the dataran merdeka there..it was one challenging task, we couldnt find d actual building at 1st and had to go thr by feet, it was drizzling at dat time..finally we reached and spent almost 1 hour at the DBKL building just to get one tiny piece of plan of Section 2 area..the officers kept on asking us to meet another officer and the process kept on repeating, we went from d lowest level until eventually the top level as we r directed to meet diff officers, until we finally reached jabatan pelan induk..really =.= dis building acts assignment is by far d costliest and time consuming assignmt and we really did our best..overall, we did a pretty good presentation..cheers guys~! *yao piku*

First and foremost, would like to thank all my friends who celebrated my bday the other day and thanks for all the birthday greetings through SMS, friendster and MSN..and thanks for all the lovely gifts guys. Went through many surprises this year and well, i'm the kind that really like surprises~ XD another year passed by means getting another year older..means being able to experience more new things.. o.O

Well, my housemates and friends, Mary,Jacq,Shu Juen and Ing Kee, celebrated my bday party at Neway, Time Square last Sat. We had the dinner buffet there and sang out hearts out that night. As we were singing, then suddenly my sneaky housemates brought in my bday cake and gave me a bouquet of roses wif a hidden necklace in between. Was kinda shocked and touched at the same time. After karaoke, we stopped by Thai Club, and d place was super packed. Someone even went to the DJ on duty and announced my bday out loud. Kinda touched though. ;P

On Sunday, went to Cla's place to do our Building Acts assignment along wif Sars and Anson. I'd figured out they would come out wif something ady dat day as they were getting all sneaky and fishy dat day. Finally they surprised me wif a B'day cum X'mas Cake. 2-in-1 eh? It was a blueberry cheese cake and it tastes yummy. To top it off, i got an individual gift from them. Thanks guys..dat night, my fren Dan invited me out and i thought it was gonna be a usual outing; dinner, movies, bowling? Mana tau, he brought me to his house and cooked pasta for me. So shocked and abit awkward feeling at the same time. Lucky him, his pasta tastes pretty awesome.

On Monday, was supposed to pick up my baby samsung ady as d guy told me it was fixed and ready to check out. Mana tau, reach thr he told me it was still faulty and my phone ribbon is problematic. So have to send it to the factory again. So 'cheh su' la them. So irresponsible and unsistematic. Then, my fren, Simon, who came all d way from Perak to play, asked me to go help him choose a bday gift for his fren. It sounded kinda fishy to me but i juz played along wif him. Couldnt find anything at time square so we went to KLCC instead. Finally, he brought me to Tomei and bought me a pair of dolphin necklace made of white gold. Then we went to Chillies for dinner. Fyi, never order the fried chicken chop coz its as hard as a rock, but the sauce tastes awesome though. Our eyes buldge when d waiter served us our meal. Have to use a trolley somemore coz too big d plates. Overall, d menu thr is somewhat similar to tgi friday's but they dont have the 3 course meal at Chillies and the price there is lower than friday's. Went to watch DejaVu after dinner and d movie is very tricky so u gotta pay attention carefully during d beginning part. I actually dozed off during d middle part as it was abit boring and den d back part was interesting again. It's a so-so movie le..not really up to my expectation..

Movie updates:
Watched Colic and Possessed last Friday and Saturday. Both are horror movies but only Colic managed to give me the chills and adrenaline rush. Possesed was somewhat lame and hilarious, and we (me and my housemate) just couldnt help it but laugh out loud (LOL) inside d cinema. Kekeke...Good try for Malaysian horror movie though. Haha. Try harder next time. However, i was kinda surprised to find out that the background setting of the movie Possesed was filmed in Kuching, Sarawak, where scenes of the riverfront and the fort margherita were shown quite often. Bangganya! XD

Thursday is my favourite weekday because we dun have any class on dat day, except for Japanese class but that still doesnt change the fact. So last Thurs, me & my partners in crime, Anson, Clarence, Sarah & Kenny decided to go to Klang to taste d originality of the bak-kut-teh there. Melaka trip

Havent been posting for a long time as my laptop broke down and i couldn't online since i came back from Melaka..so heartbroken coz my laptop suddenly broke down after i've not been with it for almost a week. Anywayz, i went to Melaka the other day to visit my sis, Roselyn and her bf, Ken and his family and stayed at their house for a few days before we headed down to Port dickson to spend our DeepaRaya holidays there. It was a fun trip and we get to play ps2 there, macam macam ada, word games,shooting games, dancing games and racing games..after my P.D trip, i went to melaka for few more days as my class only starts on thursday. So me, Rose, Ken and Ken's younger bro, Benny, went to Melaka's new shopping centre, Dataran Pahlawan, built underground, to do a lil shopping. They have more branded shops thr if compared to other shopping centres in Melaka..after our shopping, we went to Jonker Street and have our lunch at the Coconut House, which serves finger-lickin'-gud pizzas. Will post pics soon!

have a very hectic time-table dis new sem..so much long breaks in between our classes..3 to 4 hours in between..and we have 4 night classes dis sem..pathetic.. :( but d good news is we dont have Sat class..thank goodness! :) as for now, we have a few 'interesting' & weird lecturers..haha..not mentioning names here..anywayz, we were also not allowed to choose our group members dis sem except for English..we asked our lecturers why? and they said later some dont do work..yeah rite..working wif not ngam wan later lagi teruk..so i went to Time Square dis morning wif my classmates, wai chi, yin tyan and keat chai, to watch Silk, a supposedly Japanese horror movie but it wasn't really close to that..it was in fact kinda funny..after class, we headed to college to attend our 1st lecture for Professional Practice, which was kinda dull and boring coz our lecturer kept on showing off his achievements and promoting himself to us the entire lecture..duh! anywayz, Deepa-Raya is coming soon and my sis was inviting me to join her bf and his family to Port Dickson for another family vacation..so i'm going down to Malacca dis Thurs night first to spend a few days there and take the opportunity to enjoy my fav satay celup there..yum yum :) Happy holidays to all~ ;)

Went to Damai wif my fren last week..and we managed to catch a few of these babies.. i have 7 of them..they're hermit crabs and u can find lots of them at the rocky parts of Damai..they're simply adorable and are very active animals..and they like to climb on top of each other..they live on shells belonging to snails mainly..wanted to bring them back to KL but my parents do not approve and i had to give them out for adoption. >.<

HAPI BELATED MOONCAKE FESTIVAL!

Was supposed to post earlier but didnt have the time..attended my cousin's Wedding dinner on this special day at Tsui Hua Lau and the place was fully packed. Saw many faces i didnt recognise and a few of my cousins were missing in action. Havent seen them for a long long time and i kinda missed them. After the dinner, my fren fetched me out and we went to Friendship Garden to see the special event there..trees were beautifully lighted wif lanterns and the view was awesome..some juz managed to light candles all around a small part of the garden without the lanterns..more cost saving la..its the thought dat counts anyways rite..hehe..and after that we headed to a small small park cum playground in BDC to light our own lanterns.

Went to the Europe Fun Fair on Thursday night and it was not dat bad..pretty cool..there are few adult rides which r kinda fun..mainly d Air Force One which spins u in d air at 360 degrees and the spinning thing which vibrates..cant remember d name..the octopus ride was fun too..and also bumper car, although i got bumped pretty hard by the worker and he ended up got bumped by me the entire time..serve him right..hmphf..thr are the ferris wheel as well and d worst ride of all goes to the haunted house..just round 1 round den woosh come out dy..not worth my poor 2 tokens (RM2 per token). Overall, its still a wonderful fun fair..check it out if u havent~ :)
